Lukas Hasler, international organist

27-year-old Lukas Hasler has distinguished himself as one of the most exciting organists to emerge in recent years. He has a thriving international concert career, which has already taken him to Europe and Asia as well as to some of the largest cathedrals in the United States.

In 2022, he was the first classical musician to perform in Ukraine after the start of the war and played two benefit concerts in the Lviv Concert Hall for the victims of the war.

Lukas is gaining recognition for his colourful and passionate musicality. In 2020 he was named “rising star” by the Austrian newspaper Kleine Zeitung. With more than 80,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, he is one of the world’s most successful organists on social media.

Venue

Yirranma Place is a philanthropic precinct with social purpose at its heart.

“Yirranma” is translated from Gadigal to “many-create”. This indicates the purpose of the precinct - a place where people come together to create and connect in the Darlinghurst neighbourhood. Yirranma Place is a space where for-purpose organisations, social enterprises, and people working for social change can collaborate; and for the local community to enjoy, from picking up a coffee to browsing displays, or attending an event.
